The
Di100CR is the ideal bracket for the photographer that wants to
use his camera and bracket on the tripod or hand held when doing
candid photography. The Di100CR will rotate from horizontal
to vertical without moving the tripod head keeping the flash
directly over the top of the lens in both positions. Newton
has designed this bracket to be used on the camera as you would
use the camera if the bracket were not attached. When hand
holding your right hand is always on the camera grip and your left
hand should be under the base of the bracket for support.
Doing this will allow the fingers on the left hand to zoom or
focus the lens and relieve stress on your right hand and
wrist. When carrying the bracket and flash always use the
camera grip and not the bracket. Never
carry your system by the bracket as this can cause undue stress on
the tripod socket of your camera and could also cause some of the
bracket parts to work loose.
